Description

Controller is an app that allows you to remotely control your ESP32 and ESP8266 development boards through WebSocket protocol. With features like Joystick Control, Color Picker, Button Array, Sliders, and more, you can easily interact with connected peripherals and devices.

Board Setup

To get started, install the app and then head to our GitHub repository to download the necessary library and examples for programming your development board. Follow the instructions provided to properly set up your board for use with the Controller app.

Connecting to Your Board

1. Set up your ESP Wi-Fi by connecting to your ESP device. Once redirected to the configuration portal, enter your Wi-Fi SSID and password.
2. In the Controller app, tap on the Wi-Fi icon to set up the connection to your device.
3. Select your device from the mDNS discovery tab and press Connect to establish the connection.
4. The status icon will turn green once the connection is successful. Test the connection by sending a message to receive a response from the server.

Usage Tips

You can easily reconnect or disconnect from the ESP webserver by tapping on the status icon in the top right corner of any controller screen. This allows for seamless control and interaction with your connected devices.
